He Has Put a New Song in My Mouth - Praise to Our God!

“Psalm 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. 3 He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD.”
Reflection
15th November 2023 Imagine that! As I wait patiently for the Lord’s deliverance, He will put a new song in my mouth to praise my God, my strength and shield. And when I sing and praise God, many will see and fear the Lord, putting their trust in Him! Hallelujah!
Application
1. Wait patiently for the LORD. Know that He hears us and by His grace and mercy, will save us. 2. We praise God continually as we wait and as we see Him move. 3. Our praise glorifies God and many will see by the fruit of the Spirit in us how God has transformed us for His service. 4. Let us be living testimonies for our LORD and, in doing so, lead others to Christ.
Thank you, Lord, for opening my eyes to see Your steadfast love for me. I praise You and sing of Your mercies, which are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness, O Lord!
