Valley of Grace

June 9, 2026

Scripture

Psalm 84:5-7 5 What joy for those whose strength comes from the LORD, who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. 6 When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings. 7 They will continue to grow stronger, and each of them will appear before God in Jerusalem.

Reflection

13th April 2026, Monday I spent the morning doing some soul-searching on what my God-directed calling would be during these final days of the end times. As I prayed, I felt led to wanting to help people turn their sorrows and fears into joy and peace, based on my experiences as shared in this journal. I used AI to help me come up with a program with which I could use as a framework for instruction. Notebook LLM produced the Valley of Grace Protocol. (Refer to Slides in Protocol section). This approach was built on the spiritual principles and "keys" discovered throughout my faith journey, as recorded in my journal: Phase 1: The Foundation – The Posture of the Heart The first step is shifting the participant's focus from their earthly circumstances to their relationship with Christ. ● Identify "Broken Cisterns": Help individuals recognize what they are relying on for security—such as career, financial resources, or personal pride—which are often "rubbish" compared to knowing Christ. ● Choose Relationship over Religion: Emphasize that God desires a personal relationship rather than the mere following of religious customs and laws. ● Surrender the Outcome: Participants must learn to reach a "rock-bottom" state where the specific outcome of their trial is less important than their complete surrender to God's sovereign will. Phase 2: The Practice – Walking with Spiritual Authority Introduce the Seven Keys as the core daily framework for navigating the "valley." 1. Walk in Integrity: The door to success and blessings; a righteous person walks securely even when the path is long and painful. 2. Be Strong and Courageous: The door to victory; reminding them that the Lord fights their battles. 3. Be Humble: The door to peace; casting all cares upon Him because He cares for them. 4. Satisfy the Soul in the Lord: The door to eternal life; trusting that He guides them even in a "sun-scorched land." 5. Walk According to the Spirit: The door to freedom; standing in the truth that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. 6. Be Quiet in His Love: The door to restoration; letting the Lord rejoice over them with singing during their moments of silence. 7. Walk in His Power: The door to God’s glory; acknowledging that He can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. Phase 3: The Tools – Maintaining Spiritual Momentum Implement specific spiritual disciplines to keep the mind governed by the Spirit. ● The Discipline of Journaling: Encourage participants to keep a "faith journal" to bare their souls to God and record evidence of His hand at work, which builds faith during "slow grinds." ● "Praise Him Till Happy": Teach the practice of constant worship and thanksgiving as a way to invite supernatural joy even in the midst of suffering. ● Fasting for Discernment: Use periods of fasting to tune out "worldly noise" and position the heart to hear God's clear instructions. Phase 4: The Community – The "Psalm 23" Fellowship We are not meant to walk through the valley alone. ● Form a "Psalm 23 Prayer Group": Create small communities of people facing similar trials (legal, medical, or career) to "edify one another" and "bear each other's burdens." ● Iron Sharpening Iron: Use the power of community to sharpen one another's character and provide a "cloud of witnesses" that offers support when one is feeling vulnerable. Phase 5: The Transformation – Seeing Flowers in the Valley The final goal is a perspective shift where trials are seen as a "refining fire." ● Reframing Suffering: Teach that tribulation is a tool for sanctification, producing perseverance, character, and hope that does not disappoint. ● Forgiveness as Release: Facilitate the intentional forgiveness of "enemies" or those who have caused the trial, releasing them to God to remove bitterness. ● Finding a New Mission Field: Help participants look for opportunities to share their testimony or return to their "first calling" to serve others, proving that God can make "dead bones live" and bear fruit once again. By following this approach, those in distress can move from the "mire" to standing on a "rock," knowing that their earthly future may be unknown, but their eternal place is assured.

Application

Ultimately, I must be led by the Holy Spirit in whatever I do. That is un-negotiable!

Prayer

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for giving me some clarity today on not wasting my trials, but instead, to use them to encourage others and help people who are struggling in their valleys to experience Your grace as You shepherd them by quiet streams along paths of righteousness. How great Thou art! Your name is worthy to be praised! Amen.
