Rejoice In The Lord Always

June 3, 2026

Scripture

Philippians 4:4-5 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Reflection

4th June 2025 I received a message from my lawyer, that the verdict for my IPP suit will be released tomorrow morning. It has been 3.5 months since the appeal hearing, so I am happy that the end is near for this issue. I informed LW and the children of this and my heart was warmed by their support. LW: His will shall be done for His glory so we give thanks and praise now JYM: He has already decided but will pray for you!! 🙏 Postscript 5th June 2025 Nanthini (my lawyer): We did it We did it!!!!

Application

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! Yes, no matter the outcome, it is God who is exalted! Victory belongs to the Lord. I am but the messenger who proclaims His goodness to everyone!

Prayer

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for loving me and caring for me. You alone have given me the strength to bear up under the weight of the law suit because your yoke is light. Thank You for reminding me constantly to fix my eyes on You and nothing else. Thank You for surrounding me with such a cloud of witnesses, who have been walking alongside me and praying for me. Thank You for my family, who has endured with me, without any complaint, but with the joy that can only come from the Holy Spirit in their hearts. This is how I now You love us – because Your love has been perfected in our hearts! I have peace, knowing that Jesus loves me. I have confidence that His will for me is to glorify Him when I rejoice and declare that He is more than sufficient for me. Through this journey, I have learnt to surrender all. Therefore, the outcome tomorrow is no longer important. Rather, knowing and trusting that Jesus is still my Saviour, regardless of circumstances, is all that matters. Yes, He quiets me with His love and He rejoices over me with singing. Amen!
